I‘ve collected quite a few Fairy Season pieces this last year, and this cover-up is another winner!! I ordered it in my usual size, and it fits perfectly. I chose the white color, and it’s absolutely beautiful, with the pink and apricot "flowers" just making this a standout!!

Fairy Season always has the best beach cover ups. This one is no exception. I chose the Blue (which is really more of an Aqua color), and the colors are rich and vibrant. This style has a fun vibe to it, more of a boho/retro style. It is super cute and flattering.
The top has ties in the back that tie at the neck. It is adjustable and feels secure when tied. There is also some scalloped edging and it really helps to elevate the piece. This is cute and nice enough to be able to wear to go grab a bite to eat after a romp on the beach. It is more on the fitted side, but not super formal fitting.
I usually wear a Large but in cover ups I'll buy an X-Large so I don't feel like anything is clinging to me. I also have sensory issues so it's awesome that this material is soft and not scratchy in the slightest. There are tassels on the bottom and it lends a fun, carefree touch. It's a nice compliment to the rest of the style of this.

Fairy Season makes the most among and stunning knit pieces I have ever seen. I might be a little biased as I own a few of their pieces, but I really don't think anyone could call this cover up anything other than stunning!! I ordered the pink color and it looks exactly the same in person than it does pictured here on Amazon. I ordered my usual size, but I did look at the size chart just to be sure. I didn't want to take the chance that this wouldn't fit. The material does have a little stretch to it, but not a lot. If this was stretched out it would lose the whole vibe of this garment. So, I checked the tag and I found out the coverup is made from 60% Cotton, and 40% Acrylic yarn. The care direction say to hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry.This cover up fit perfectly, my 5'8" body. The sleeves are barely there, but enough to cover your shoulders. I'm pretty sure you could wear this dress to an outdoor cafe near the water. and nobody would say anything about it. It is long enough, even for me, and the decorations are too cute, they encircle the bottom hem. They are adorable renditions of shells, coral, fish and seahorses, with a watermelon thrown in for good luck. I love fringe, and the bottom of the coverup dress has it as well. The coverup is lightweight, but with the cotton in the yarn in can absorb water. People will be asking you how they can get one just like it, it's happened to me!!Every Fairy Season item I have, including this, comes in a velvety storage bag to keep your garment from getting snagged on anything. The bag has a chocolate brown satin ribbon to tie it closed. It keeps it safe in your luggage as well, and I've yet to have airport security open to bag in my luggage. This coverup just begs to be worn on the beach or yacht in the south of France!! It is that lovely. Buy one for yourself or your bestie today, you won't be sorry.
