I liked this a lot but I wish it was a bit longer, it also smells kind of like an Indian spice... Other than that I liked the style and it fit me well. The material is thick and made well. Fairy Season makes the most among and stunning knit pieces I have ever seen. I might be a little biased as I own a few of their pieces, but I really don't think anyone could call this cover up anything other than stunning!! I ordered the blue color and it looks exactly the same in person than it does pictured here on the web. I ordered my usual size, but I did look at the size chart just to be sure. I didn't want to take the chance that this wouldn't fit.
The material does have a little stretch to it, but not a lot. If this was stretched out it would lose the whole vibe of this garment. So, I checked the tag and I found out the coverup is made from 100% Polyester yarn. The care direction say to hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry.This cover up fit perfectly, my 5'8" body. The sleeves, which usually are rather tight are just perfect, and they are long enough. The metal ring in the middle is gold colored to coordinate with your jewelry.
I'm pretty sure you could wear this dress to an outdoor cafe near the water and nobody would say anything about it. It is long enough, even for me, and the decorations are too cute, but only on the front. The starfish and the coral decorations are beaded just beautifully and add to the charm of this garment. The coverup is lightweight, even with the beading on the accents. The knot is an open weave so you won't feel hot wearing this. It barely absorbs water, so it won't feel heavy even if your bathing suit is a little wet. People will be asking you how they can get one just like it, it's happened to me!!

I don't think they have a product that I wouldn't like, their products are just too stunning!! This is another coverup for swim, and I think this is my third that I own. I really do like them as you will be able to tell, because I have two of their cardigans as well. Their knitwear is ALL outstanding and beautiful, truly every piece I wearable art. So, on to the good stuff!! I needed a cover up to go with my pink swimsuit for a party, and I never have to go any further than Fairy Season. This fun cover up is TTS so definitely make sure you know your measurements because although it is knit, it doesn't have a ton of stretch, but it does have a little. I would size up if you want it oversized, but don't otherwise. The yarn is 60% cotton, and 40% acrylic. Cotton yarn notoriously doesn't offer a lot of stretch, but the acrylic does. These pieces are durable yet delicate, so the label says to hand wash in cold water, and I would lay flat to dry.The daisy motif of the knot is such a classic and invokes the 60's to me. It is adorable, and the colors all go so well together in pink and green with a splash of lavender and aqua. It I very comfortable and easy to wear, and the fringe just truly "makes" it!! The garment says that it is polyester, but it does not feel like polyester at all. I have a very extensive knowledge of textiles and I know the feel of Polly and the feel of cotton. This feels like cotton. It might be polyester, but my point is that it is such a nice yarn that you’ve never know it’s polyester.The crochet is so beautiful and the sequin and beaded cases are so pretty. I have to start by explaining the lovely packaging that this arrives in. The cover-up is beautifully folded and placed inside a gray velvet pouch that closes with a satin ribbon. The brand fairy season is printed on the outside of the velvet pouch. This is beautiful and would make such a lovely gift.
Next the quality of the cover-up is very nice. Although the cover-up states that the fiber content is 100% polyester, I’m inclined to think that it is cotton. It feels like cotton and it honestly doesn‘t feel itchy when you put it on nor does it feel like polyester it doesn’t feel like it would make you hotter, which was a concern of mine because when you‘re going to wear something that is crochet in the heat, it almost feels like you’re going to be hot, but not in this cover-up.

The fit is great and it is true to size. I am typically either a medium or a large so I was hoping the medium would not be too tight on me, but it is perfect. For reference I wear a size 10 in dresses and in this cover-up, I ordered a medium and it was perfect.

Runs small. I ordered a size large because I'm 4.5 months pregnant, and it is pretty fitted on me still. I usually am a size Medium pre-pregnancy, I'm 5'6 and usually around 135 lbs.
